Podcast

Phew! I wasn't sure that I was ever going to get this one finished! I started by downloading garageband to my iTouch and recording my students saying thank you for the field trip. When I got home, I tried to export my recording to my computer... could not see is through iTunes where I look at my app or my computer where I can get photos and movies from my iTouch. I watched the tutorials and realized that the garageband on my phone is not at all the same as the ones they were showing. I must have the dumbed down version or something. I did have all of the options it was showing in the tutorials. So I went to plan B, which was recording the thank you myself using Audacity. The problem with this is that I had to play my flyinghands music in the background while I talked and therefore couldn't control the volumes separately. I know my music is really quiet, sorry. I tried it several times and this was the best one. Then I was able to add my music to my pictures which I put together in windows movie maker. I was really hoping to get to explore some different programs, but ended up relying on the ones I knew how to use. I'm hoping that in the future the students will be able to create their own podcast thank you messages. Here is the final product:
